Caramel Sauce Tips
Texture Notes: The sauce will thicken as it cools and may separate slightly, just give it a stir before using. If it crystallises once cold, simply reheat it in the microwave or on the stove.
Salted Caramel Sauce: Add ½ teaspoon of salt or more depending on taste.
Storage
Store the caramel sauce in an airtight jar or container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Thermomix Caramel Sauce (3 Ingredients)
Ingredients
- 225 g brown sugar
- 100 g unsalted butter, roughly chopped
- 100 g thickened cream / heavy cream / whipping cream
Instructions
- Add the brown sugar, unsalted butter and cream to the Thermomix bowl.
- Heat for 9 mins/Varoma/speed 2. Use the simmering basket or splatter guard on top instead of the measuring cup.
- Pour the sauce into a jug. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
